A Big Thank You

This cake was done for the children's leaders at a Bible study I go to called L.A.M.B.s. This is short for Ladies AM Bible Study. My kids go with me and learn the same thing I do and the teachers are amazing. They were having a seminar and I thought I would show my appreciation for all that they do with a cake.

Spring is here

This was for my creative Logo designer and good friend's 31st Birthday. We've known each other since the 6th grade. She was able to dive in after a 13.1 running race. GO SU!

Rectangular Cookie Cake

In order to search for a way to feed more people I tried the rectangular version. Although it tastes fine, it doesn't turn out quite like I would like it to. I would prefer just to do two round cakes to feed more people until I find just the right size.

I made the one above this one for a family reunion the day before and one of the family members thought it would be a great dessert to take to a party he needed to go to. The start of Laura's Cookie Creations

It all started with play group birthday parties and special occasions. I made one cookie cake to bring to a Happy Birthday Jesus party we were doing with our kids. This particular one didn't turn out so great, but then I decided to try again and the next one was out of this world. My sweet friends said it tasted better than the ones you buy at the stores in the malls by far. No aftertaste and no preservatives and you know its fresh when its homemade. So from there I decided to start charging for these delectable treats. I never realized how many people loved them as much as I did until I mentioned what I was doing and they said they LOVE cookie cakes. Its the perfect special treat for kids too because they don't just eat the icing they usually eat the whole thing.
